There are several beautiful hikes to explore nearby, allowing me to connect with nature and relax. The room I stayed in was separate from the main house, offering privacy and a sense of coziness. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a well-rested sleep. I also loved the little deck with chairs facing the lovely garden - perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. The hosts, Rob and Margaret, were wonderful and made me feel at home. We had a delightful breakfast together and their friendly nature made my stay truly special. We spent New Year's at a countryside B&B. the location was idyllic, with beautiful forest walks, farm animals to visit and stunning scenery. the owners were lovely, easy-going and shared many life experiences with us. the bed was comfy and the breakfast was homemade and delicious!

The location was a bit remote, which meant a drive to get to restaurants and shops. there was no table on the verandah which made it difficult to eat in.
